The Rally Pavilion is designed for car manufacturers to display their newest car brand flagships as well as host exciting events to draw more attention to their products.
In this case, it’s for showcasing their latest rally vehicle for the brand. The structure of the pavilion is mass timber with thin waterproof fabric to provide shade as well as blockages from rain and harsh desert wind. The facade system is designed to block the excessive wind but provides semi-privacy shade without losing the ability to allow natural air circulation within the space.
